EAE Trolley Busbar Systems
EAE trolley busbar systems provide continuous electrical power to moving machinery and equipment where conventional fixed cabling is impractical. Current collectors travel along the busbar as the connected equipment moves, providing a flexible and reliable method of supplying electrical energy along the operating route.
EAE trolley busbar solutions are used across applications including bridge and monorail cranes, automated storage and retrieval systems, moving production equipment, assembly and testing lines, moving doors and ceilings, and other industrial applications requiring continuous power during movement. Manly-Tech supplies EAE trolley busbar systems and can assist with product selection, technical coordination and engineering requirements.
How EAE Trolley Busbar Systems Work
Unlike conventional building busbar systems, trolley busbars are designed specifically for equipment that moves along a defined route. Electrical conductors are installed along the travel path, while a current collector connected to the moving equipment maintains continuous contact with the conductor system.
This arrangement eliminates the need for long trailing power cables and allows multiple moving loads to receive power from the same distribution route, depending on the selected system and configuration.
